about Bayley Brunnmeier
Founder of Grow Core Pilates | Pilates Specialist | Injury Recovery Mentor
Bayley Brunnmeier is a dedicated Pilates enthusiast with over two decades of personal practice and nine years of instructing experience in the heart of Los Angeles. Her journey into the world of Pilates began as a result of her own remarkable life experiences and a passion for helping others find healing through movement.
Born and raised in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada, Bayley’s athletic prowess was evident from a young age. Starting gymnastics and dance at the age of 6, she swiftly rose through the ranks, competing in gymnastics until level 7 and excelling in cheerleading throughout high school. Her talents led her to audition for the world-renowned Les Folies Bergere in Las Vegas, where she became the youngest acrobat dancer—at just 17 years old—all while completing her high school education.
For five illustrious years, Bayley graced the stage of Les Folies Bergere until its final night. During this time, she was involved in a serious car accident that could have ended her performance career. Advised by a surgeon to begin Pilates as part of her rehabilitation, she discovered its incredible power to support and strengthen the body. Pilates became the reason she could continue tumbling and performing on stage—and it became a cornerstone of her lifelong movement journey.
As her career evolved, Bayley acquired a cosmetology license and helped launch two luxury hair salon locations, including Las Vegas’s first blow dry bar. She also danced at Marquee, one of Las Vegas’s hottest nightclubs, and made her way into the entertainment world as a stunt double for various Nickelodeon and Disney shows.
But after undergoing multiple foot surgeries, Bayley was forced to step away from dance, stunts, and hairstyling. She returned to Pilates—this time not just as a student, but as a future teacher. What began as personal rehabilitation became a professional calling.
Bayley earned her full certification through Pilates Sports Center in Los Angeles, completing comprehensive training across classical and contemporary methods. Her education includes extensive training on a wide range of apparatuses—Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Springboard, Spine Corrector, Toe Corrector, Foot Corrector, Pedi-pull and more. This well-rounded foundation allows her to create thoughtful, adaptive programming that meets clients exactly where they are in their movement journey. Her expertise is grounded in anatomy, biomechanics, and—most powerfully—personal experience.
Having faced multiple injuries herself, including a bicep tear (commonly seen in NFL and basketball players), similar to turf toe–like complications resulting in the loss of cartilage in her big toe, and even a hip dislocation, Bayley understands exactly what recovering athletes and post-surgery clients go through. Her lived experience gives her a rare ability to connect with and guide those healing from significant setbacks. Clients trust her not just because of her knowledge, but because she’s walked in their shoes.
After building a successful Pilates business in Los Angeles, Bayley returned home to Las Vegas and opened Grow Core Pilates—a boutique studio grounded in the belief that movement is medicine.
At Grow Core Pilates, Bayley combines technical precision with heartfelt coaching, helping clients reconnect with their bodies and move with purpose. Whether you’re a professional athlete, a weekend warrior, or simply someone looking to feel better in your body, Bayley’s mission is to help you grow stronger from the core—inside and out.
